We reserve a designated number of appointments each week for sick and injured pets; in doing so, we are better able to see pets on short notice that require immediate care.
There is a house call travel fee of $45-$75, depending on your location. If multiple pets are seen during the same visit, there is still only one house call fee.
Physical examinations, vaccinations, lab tests, medications, and other items and services will be charged in addition to the house call fee.
Please note: The house call fee will be charged even if the pet is ‘missing’ at the appointment time and we are unable to examine.
We are happy to provide you an estimate prior to your appointment. Our office staff can also provide you with our current prices for all services, as well as quotes for surgical procedures.

We ask that you forward us all previous medical records for each pet to be seen. This includes any medications your pet is currently taking. If this can be done 2-3 days before the appointment, we are better able to assess your pet’s overall health and increase efficiency during exams.
There are a few simple things you can do to get the most out of our visit and time we have alotted to care for your pet.
Since cats are highly skilled at finding inconvenient places to hide, we recommend confining your cat to a small room or bathroom prior to the visit. If a urine sample is needed, please restrict access to the litter box for 2 hours leading up to your appointment.
If you have a hyper or easily excited dog, we recommend exercising him or her before your appointment. If a urine sample is needed, avoid walking your dog 2 hours prior to the visit. If possible, please obtain a sample of your pet’s stool (same-day) in case we need to conduct a parasite test.
Please note: The house call fee will be charged even if the pet is ‘missing’ at the appointment time and we are unable to examine.
Yes, we can see multiple pets during one house call, or if you come to the clinic. There is only one house call travel charge per visit, but each animal will have their own exam fee. Services rendered for each animal will be charged accordingly.
When scheduling your appointment, be sure to tell our staff which patients will need care so that we can allow for the necessary time.
We can examine your pet and conduct diagnostic testing for most illnesses. A full physical exam will be performed, along with any necessary blood tests, urine and fecal tests, and skin and ear cytologies and cultures. If your pet needs additional diagnostics, such as an x-ray, ultrasound, or echocardiogram, arrangements will be made for these to be performed at our veterinary hospital.
When at all possible we encourage you to contact the clinic and bring your sick pet directly there. This will expedite testing results and other services that may be necessary and are not able to be performed at house calls.
It can be frightening when your pet suffers a sudden accident or illness - we are here for you. If your pet has an emergency, please call us right away.
If you are unsure of what may be considered an emergency, call or send a message and we will advise you as to the best course of action.
Please Note: We ONLY provide Emergency Services to existing clients.
If we are unavailable, please contact the nearest emergency facility. We suggest calling ahead to be sure of availability.

Palliative care is provided to those pets with terminal or chronic disease processes where comfort is the goal, not cure. These pets have often had extensive diagnostics with either their regular veterinarian or specialist. We understand that owners are wanting to keep their companion comfortable and happy at home, and we are here to guide you through every step of the way.
This may require oral or injectable medications, fluid therapy, pain management, nutritional guidance, or environmental adjustments. Laboratory services may be necessary to monitor the pet’s condition and make adjustments in the treatment plans. There is an open line of communication between client and doctor under these circumstances, as changes may happen quickly. Hospice care is offered when a pet is at the end of life transition. Our role is to be you and your pet’s advocate for passing in a dignified, peaceful manner.
This is the most difficult part of loving our furry family members…we inevitably outlive them.
It can be very difficult to know when the time is right to say goodbye. Dr. Sniderman can help you with that decision. Although we are dedicated to giving your pet the longest, healthiest life possible, there comes a point when it’s time to let go. Incurable and debilitating conditions that give a poor quality of life and pain that can’t be alleviated are two examples when the decision to say goodbye is right.
When the time comes, Dr. Sniderman and his staff are here to support and guide you through the end-of-life process.
We understand the special bond between you and your pet. We all have had to make the end-of-life decision with a pet as well. When the time comes, we will perform humane euthanasia. This process is gentle, painless, and humane—your pet simply “falls asleep” for the last time. You are welcome to be a part of the process as much or as little as you like. Give us a few days’ notice, if possible, to schedule such a house call.
Please note that we ONLY provide end of life services for existing clients.
Dr. Sniderman will evaluate your pet’s health, lifestyle, surroundings, their diet and regular behavior - all of this allowing him to provide your pet with a comprehensive health exam and provide tailored recommendations to ensure a healthy, happy long life.
