PET WELLNESS SERVICES
Preventative care is a critical part in giving your pet the best chance at living a long healthy life. By bringing the service to the patient there is less stress and therefore better medical care in a more relaxed setting. In the comfort of your home, your pets are more relaxed, which allows a more thorough health examination.
PET DENTAL CARE
A healthy pet starts with a healthy mouth! Dental disease in dogs and cats is very common, and very dangerous. Left untreated, it can lead to major problems like heart disease and kidney failure. Fresh breath, clean teeth, and healthy gums are the foundation for a long and healthy life.
DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES
Diagnostic services are especially important in veterinary practice because your animal is not able to tell us where it hurts or how he or she feels. We offer state-of-the-art laboratory and diagnostic services to determine if your beloved pet is suffering from any significant medical conditions.
“HAPPY HOURS” & GROOMING
In addition to seeing pets in their own homes, we encourage friends and neighbors to get together for a “Well Care Happy Hour”, where several pets living near each other meet at one home for a group visit and split the house call/travel fees. We offer Senior & Veteran discounts, as well as pet-sitting and in-home grooming services.
PUPPY & KITTEN CARE
A lifetime of wellness starts here! Get off to a great start by scheduling an appointment within the first few days of your pet’s arrival. We will develop a customized wellness plan for your new family member, providing the proper foundation for your pet’s health and longevity, and the best possible care at every stage of your new pet’s life.
SPAY & NEUTER SURGERY
Spaying and neutering helps pets live longer, healthier lives and offers many benefits to pets. It eliminates or diminishes numerous health problems and undesirable behavior while preventing pet over-population. Your pet deserves the best care you can give, and at the top of the “best list” is to have him or her neutered or spayed.

Like people, our pets can be allergic to various substances. If your pet is exhibiting the respiratory, digestive, or skin problems commonly associated with allergic reactions, then he may need some extra help. VACCINATIONS TO SUPPORT YOUR PET’S HEALTH
Vaccinations are essential to protecting your furry family members – and even owners – from an array of illnesses. Vaccinating your pet has long been proven one of the easiest ways to help him live a long, healthy life.
When determining an appropriate vaccination schedule and parasite prevention plan, many factors are considered, including age, lifestyle, and risk of exposure. During your wellness visit, Dr. Sniderman will design an individualized vaccine protocol according to your individual pet’s lifestyle and associated risks. Protecting your pet against unwanted pests and disease is essential to good health.
FLEA & TICK PREVENTION
Fleas and ticks are just about everywhere you go in the outdoors and can carry serious diseases that affect your pet’s health. Because they can spread from your pet to others, your family and home, doing what you can to prevent them is essential. There is no question that prevention is the way to go when it comes to fleas and ticks. You certainly can’t control all of the parasites in the environment, but you can take steps to protect your pets and family from suffering the consequences.
Ticks can cause infection, abscesses, paralysis, and even death. Ticks are the host of several debilitating diseases, including Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, anaplasmosis, ehrlichiosis, and babesiosis. Vaccines are not available for most of the tick-borne diseases that your pets can get. Treatments for tick-borne illnesses are lengthy and can be very costly.
Fleas cause itching and scratching, redness, flaky skin, scabs, hot spots, hair loss and anemia. Fleas are also the most common cause of tapeworms. Humans are also vulnerable to many of the complications and diseases that ticks and fleas cause - one more reason to practice flea and tick prevention with your pets and keep your home and family safe from an infestation.
There are many preventative products available for pets of all life stages that safely and effectively protect them from these parasites. We’re happy to help you find the one that’s right for your pet.
